Derwen Fairs COVID-19 UPDATE
I have spoken to the National Botanic Garden of Wales, as the lockdown starts to ease, and they have indicated that the Garden possibly could gingerly open parts of the Garden to the public at the beginning of July.
However, they are not happy to hold events there at present. This means that unfortunately the July Fair will now be postponed to the October date.
Although I am very disappointed that Derwen Fairs cannot go ahead with the fair, the safety of both stand holders and the public must stay of paramount importance.
Again with a lockdown in place, the Llandeilo Fair on the 6th June will again be postponed and I am doubtful about the August Fair. I really want to see what the market is doing and judge public confidence in shopping again.
There will be changes to ensure social distancing and both stallholders and public safety.
Please keep an eye on the website or on social media re updates for the forthcoming fairs. I am really missing the fairs and can’t wait to start back working with you all again soon.
If you want to give me a call please do so as it would be nice to hear from you and find out how you’ve all been coping with the lockdown.
Stay safe and well
Regards Brita Derwen Fairs
